Good Neighbor Program
Saint Elizabeth University strives to offer a quality educational experience that
meets the unique needs of working adults. Our Good Neighbor Tuition Deferral Program
(GNP) is one way we can assist you with the financial commitment you are making.
Eligibility for participation in the GNP is based on your employer. Students who are
employed by an organizations designated as a Good Neighbor Organization are eligible
to defer a portion of their tuition charges until 45 days after the end of the semester.
This allows you time to receive your reimbursement from your employer without having
to pay the entire cost up front.
The amount of this deferral is based in part on the tuition assistance amount permitted
by individual employers divided between fall and spring terms. The balance is due
upon receipt of the bill and the deferred amount is due 45 days after the end of the
semester.
Eligible students will be identified based on the employer listed on the admission
application. There is no fee to participate in this program and the SEU staff will
verify employment each year directly through the employer.
Students not employed by one of the GNP organizations, but who are eligible to receive
tuition reimbursement through their employer, are encouraged to contact the Office
of Admissions to discuss the possibility of establishing a GNP partnership between
SEU and their employer. As we continue our efforts to establish new relationships
and add organizations as GNP partners, we can continually expand the pool of students
eligible for this important benefit.
*Please note: Candidates for the Ed.D., Psy.D. or M.A. in Physician Assistant do not
qualify for our partnership scholarship or Good Neighbor tuition deferral program.
The RN-BSN program is not eligible for the partnership discount, but is eligible for
the tuition deferral program.
