Graduate Studies Enrollment Process

Congratulations on Your Acceptance!

We're excited to have you join the Saint Elizabeth Family!

Please follow the steps below to get started on your enrollment process.

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to the Admissions Office at 973-290-4700 or apply@steu.edu.

Steps to Enroll

1. Submit Your Enrollment Deposit

In order to reserve your place, you will need to submit an enrollment deposit of $200. This non-refundable deposit will be credited toward your tuition bill for the upcoming semester.

Students enrolling in the SLP Program will need to submit a $400 enrollment deposit. This non-refundable deposit will be credited toward your tuition bill for the upcoming semester.

Students enrolling in the PA Program will need to submit a $500 enrollment deposit. This non-refundable deposit will be credited toward your tuition bill for the upcoming semester.

It is best practice for students to submit their deposits within 2 weeks of their acceptance in order to avoid any delays during the registration period. Incoming students to the M.S. Speech-Language Pathology, M.S. Physician Assistant and the Psy.D. Counseling Psychology programs have a separate enrollment deposit deadline, which is indicated within their respective acceptance letters and should be followed accordingly.

2. Registration and Account Set Up

Students will have the ability to set up their STEU account 24 hours after they complete their deposit. You will need your student ID number, which can be found on your application status page. If you did not submit your SSN when completing your application, please call the Admissions department to provide this information. You will not be able to create your account if your SSN is not on file.

Are you an alum of SEU? If so, your enrollment deposit has the ability to be waived. Please contact your designated admissions counselor to review your eligibility status.

A student will be able to register for classes 24 hours after they set up their STEU account. Students should receive an email from their advisor to know which classes to register for. Students are able to register for classes through Self-Service. If you experience difficulties registering for courses, please reach out to your Academic Advisor and/or the Office of the Registrar at registrar@steu.edu for assistance.

3. Financial Aid

To determine your eligibility for Federal or State funding, the completion of the Free Application for Financial Aid (FAFSA) is a requirement. For any financial aid questions please contact the Office of Financial Aid at (973) 290-4393 or email financialaid@steu.edu.

4. Billing

You can view your billing information through Self-Service. Tuition charges are due upon receipt of your invoice. Invoices for the Fall semester become available in late July and invoices for the Spring semester become available in late November. Inquiries about billing or tuition payment plans should be directed to the Bursar's Office at (973) 290-4443 or (973) 290-4412, or bursar@steu.edu

5. Orientation

Orientation is an overview of University policies and procedures in order to better prepare incoming students for the start of the semester. An email will be sent to students to register during the month of August of the applicable school year. So, make sure to be on the lookout, and check your junk/spam email box!

6. Health Forms

As a student, your completed health form provides us with the necessary information we need to assure that we are providing a safe and healthy campus community. Please review the Medical Requirement Forms below.

7. Creating Your SEU ID Card

If your Graduate program is primarily in-person, it is a requirement to electronically send an appropriate photo to the Information Technology department in order to create your SEU ID Card. An email will be sent from the IT department with instructions on how to submit your photo during the first few weeks of your entry semester.

If your Graduate program is 100% online, obtaining a SEU ID Card is not required; however, if you plan to visit campus and/or use on-campus resources (e.g. the Student Success Center, Mahoney Library, etc.), possessing a SEU ID Card will be required in order to utilize these services.
