Morristown, N.J. (January 18, 2019) – The 2019 U.S. News & World Report list for best graduate online programs is out and the Saint Elizabeth University landed New Jersey's second-highest ranking. The College's M.A. in Justice Administration and Public Service tied for No. 14 in the nation for online criminal justice graduate programs.

The Best Online Graduate Criminal Justice Programs recognizes master's degree programs in criminal justice and criminology based student engagement, faculty credentials, training, and services and technology offerings.

The 95 percent graduation rate, as well as the program's flexibility, also caught the attention of the evaluators, according to Dr. Jim Ford, director of the graduate program in Justice Administration and Public Service at the College Saint Elizabeth.

"Our 100 percent online program fits very nicely into a shift worker's schedule, as do both our traditional 15-week and seven-week formats and capstone seminar in lieu of a thesis," Ford said. "We also offer a tuition discount for law enforcement officers."

SEU's tradition of small classes that encourage student interaction also has resulted in many students from the school's undergraduate criminal justice program moving into the graduate program. "Popular classes focused on homeland security and internet security add to the program's appeal," Ford added.
