Morristown, N.J. – March 30, 2022 Saint Elizabeth University (SEU) is among the top universities in the state of New Jersey in terms of employment earnings and outcomes for graduates, according to a new study released by the New Jersey Education to Earnings Data System (NJEEDS).

Saint Elizabeth University ranked third highest in the state in terms of median earnings three years following graduation with a median income of $66,174. The reported median income among all 24 New Jersey public and private schools is $45,726.

“The data from the NJEEDS research underscores the value of a Saint Elizabeth University degree. Now more than ever, students and their families expect a return on their educational investment. I am proud that we are highly ranked in metrics that demonstrate a real impact on students, their families and the state,” said Gary B. Crosby, Ph.D., president of Saint Elizabeth University.

Crosby cited SEU’s strong presence in the health sciences, including its longstanding RN-to-BSN prrogram, as among the contributing factors in the University’s earnings outcome.

“SEU’s dietetic internship program, now in its 30th year, also provides a firm foundation for graduates entering the health science workforce. With programs such as the new prelicensure BSN, masters of science in physician assistant and APA-accredited doctor of psychology in counseling psychology, we are poised to continue our strong position in earnings outcomes,” Crosby added.

NJEEDS is a collaboration between the New Jersey Office of the Secretary of Higher Education, the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development, the New Jersey Department of Education, the New Jersey Higher Education Student Assistance Authority, and the John J. Heldrich Center for Workforce Development at Rutgers University.

The recently released New Jersey Higher Education Outcomes Dashboard uses linked, longitudinal administrative data from the Office of the Secretary of Higher Education and the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development to show the employment and earnings outcomes of graduates of New Jersey's two- and four-year colleges.

The data includes percent of graduates employed and their median annual earnings are shown by graduation year, institution of higher education, major, race, and sex for the three years following their graduation. The time covered by the research spans 2014 – 2017.
