Morristown, N.J. (January 24, 2023) – Saint Elizabeth University’s (SEU) Master of Arts in Justice Administration and Public Service program tied for the number 22 spot for the nation's best online criminal justice masters out of 102 schools, according to U.S. News & World Report. This is the 10th consecutive year that the University’s 13-year-old program has been ranked among the nation’s top online criminal justice master’s degrees.

SEU’s online criminal justice program remains number one in New Jersey and is tied for the top spot among universities in the Mid-Atlantic region.

The program is designed for the working professional who wants to advance in their career or first responders entering the criminal justice arena. The program focuses on developing research skills necessary for quantitative and critical thinking for problem-solving and policy-making solutions.

“Our faculty and students collaborate on real-life scenarios involving areas such as restorative justice, community policing and cyber-security,” said James Ford, Ph.D., director of the graduate program in Justice Administration and Public Service at SEU. “In keeping with the SEU mission, our MA in Justice Administration and Public Service also installs the ethical, moral and social responsibilities our students hold in society.”

According to U.S. News & World Report, the institutions that made the list have strong traditional academic foundations based on engagement, faculty credentials and training, support services and technology, expert opinions and student excellence.
