Admission Requirements

Applicants for the Doctorate Program in the Higher Education track are required to:

  • Applicants must have earned a M.A. degree or any post-master's credit from a regionally accredited institution.
  • Have a satisfactory degree of professional applied experience in higher education.
  • Your required Letter of Intent should be no more than two pages, citing evidence as to why you should be admitted to the doctoral program, including reasons why you chose Saint Elizabeth University and illustrating your commitment to degree completion.
  • Submit official transcripts of all graduate and undergraduate work.
  • Submit a resume and completed application form.
  • Submit two letters of recommendation from professionals who can comment on your qualification for doctoral study; at least one letter must be from a professor attesting to academic capability and at least one must be from a practitioner attesting to professional capacity.

Selected applicants are invited to interview with the Program Chair for Educational Leadership.
