Move: Dance in Art—A Call for Objects for Fall 2022 Exhibitions

In conjunction with the Arts and Culture Collaborative of Morris County NJ, Gallery at 14 Maple at Morris Arts and the Therese A. Maloney Art Gallery at Saint Elizabeth University in Morristown, are currently reviewing all types of art objects that reveal various aspects of dance, from any and all cultures, and that are captured in paintings, sculptures, prints, drawings, photographs, videos, and mixed media works, etc.

The exhibitions are slated to open in September 2022, and will underscore how the subject of dance can be intertwined in visual art of every medium. Dr. Ginny Butera, Director of the Therese A. Maloney Art Gallery at SEU, will curate both shows. New Jersey Artists only. Please send the following to ArtGallery@steu.edu:

• up to five (5) JPEGS of your work, not bigger than 300 dpi;
• List of the objects with your Name; Title of the Work; Year the work was completed; Medium; Measurements: Height x Width x Depth in inches; and each object’s sale price/insurance value (they must be the same);
• One page Artist’s resume with email, website address, phone contact information; and Social Media links (Instagram, Facebook, urls, etc.)
• One-page artist’s statement about the works you are submitting

If selected, all works must be dropped off at, and picked up from, the venue hosting the works.

Submission deadline is July 22, 2022.
