Early Entrance

Well-qualified students who meet all admission requirements and who are recommended by their high school guidance counselor may apply for early entrance whereby they may begin college after completing three (3) years of high school.

Readmission

All undergraduate students (matriculated and non-matriculated) who have not enrolled in a course at SEU for three consecutive complete calendar years must reapply to the Office of Admission.

In the reapplication process, students will pay the University application fee. Ordinarily, readmitted students will be required to follow the curriculum that is in effect at the time of readmission.

Advanced Placement

Advanced Placement is described, by The College Board, as an opportunity that “gives students the chance to tackle college-level work while they’re still in high school–whether they’re learning online or in the classroom. And through taking AP Exams, students can earn college credit and placement.”

At Saint Elizabeth University, we congratulate students who strive for excellence and award their previous achievements as they pertain to academic success. By way of submission of the official high school transcript and exam scores sent directly from The College Board, the institution will accept most exams with a score of three (3) or better.

Saint Elizabeth University will accept exam scores and translate them as credit(s) toward a department elective credit unless otherwise assessed and approved by the department chair for equivalency.

Requests for advanced placement standing are made after a student has enrolled.

Pre-College Courses at Saint Elizabeth University

Outstanding high school juniors or seniors who have the written endorsement of their high school principal or guidance counselor may register as part-time college students for one or two courses in the fall, spring, or summer sessions at Saint Elizabeth University.
