The Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF) Program is designed to provide talented New Jersey students who are both academically and economically disadvantaged the opportunity to attend college in New Jersey.
The New Jersey EOF Program provides support to students who are able and motivated, but requires additional preparation for college study with resources and services needed to succeed and graduate. Upon acceptance into the EOF program, you will be provided with support to maintain continued enrollment through graduation including additional funding to those enrolled in the program.
In addition to the EOF State Grant, students receive support services such as counseling, tutoring, and educational seminars and workshops.
All first-year students are required to attend and successfully complete the EOF Pre-Freshman Summer Program. This program consists of a five-week rigorous schedule of courses and workshops designed to assist students with the academic and developmental transition into a student's first year of college at Saint Elizabeth University.
Once in the program, students must maintain good academic standing (as per the University), and satisfy all EOF Program participation requirements.
For students seeking EOF admission for the fall semester, please file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at fafsa.ed.gov after January 1 and no later than March 1, or the New Jersey Alternative Financial Aid Application can be completed. Please indicate Saint Elizabeth University as your "First Choice" institution. Follow instructions about submitting copies of income tax and proof of non-taxable income.
EOF transfer students are an integral part of the program at SEU. We strive to assist with their transition into a new setting and provide them with the necessary support to ensure their success. All transfer students must follow the steps below.
