Email: cliparini@steu.eduPhone: (973) 290-4111Dr. Liparini joined the department as Program Director for the Counseling Psychology Psy.D. program in 2022. She oversaw the program's successful self study and site visit for full accreditation by the American Psychological Association's Council on Accreditation. Outside of administrative responsibilities, she teaches research and clinical courses within the program and represents the program among the healthcare programs coordinating interprofessional educational experiences for students.
Prior to coming to Saint Elizabeth University, she spent fifteen years teaching as adjunct faculty within Seton Hall University's online and in-person masters and doctoral programs in the Department of Professional Psychology and Family Therapy. During her time there, she developed relationships with several area nonprofits so that students could engage in social justice work with underserved populations.
She has also worked as a psychologist in several university counseling centers and currently maintains a small private practice. Dr. Liparini completed her APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship at the University of Pennsylvania's Counseling and Psychological Services. She also holds experience working with children who have experienced abuse and neglect. Believing in service to the community, she provides pro-bono consultation and training services to Good Grief.
She earned both her M.A. and Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Seton Hall University.
