Congratulations and welcome to Saint Elizabeth University!

Words cannot describe how happy we are here at SEU for your arrival! Thank you for choosing SEU as a place for you to SOAR and spread your wings.

Orientation is designed to help all new students get acclimated to their new college environment. This is the time where you will have the chance to meet your fellow classmates, gain knowledge of the campus, meet your staff and faculty, and most importantly, have a great time while doing these things. We are certain that once you complete our orientation program SEU will be your nest!

Orientation will begin on Wednesday, August 23rd and conclude Friday, August 25th.

Wednesday, August 23rd

Orientation Day 1 will focus on getting our Newest Eagles settled into their nest. Whether they be residents or commuters, the day is focused on making them and their families comfortable. Students will have the opportunity to meet some of their peers along with upperclassmen while families learn about letting go.

IMPORTANT: In efforts to make the check-in process seamless, we ask that you please adhere to the following check-in times based on your last name. For out of state students, please proceed with your arrival plan and regardless of your last name and time, we will be ready to receive you.

Thursday, August 24th

Orientation Day 2 will continue on growing the bonds formed on day 1 with the students taking part in 2 very social activities. The day will also teach the students about the importance of Mission at Saint Elizabeth University as they will complete a mission activity as well as take part in a service project.

For Day 2, be sure to bring the following:

  • Shirt received at check in
  • Swimsuit
  • Towel
  • Beach appropriate shoes

Friday, August 25th

Orientation Day 3 is all about making sure that the students are set up for success from the first day of their semester. Students will not only meet the key members of the Universities faculty and staff, but also get a chance to see what clubs and organizations they might be interested in joining. The day will end with a boat ride around Manhattan.

Day 4 will allow the students who participate to gain a better understanding of clubs they might be interested in when they attend a club mixer session. Students will also get a sneak peak into what Food Truck Fridays are like.
