Orientation will be a fun-filled 3-day program beginning on Wednesday, August 19th and culminating on Friday, August 21st with SEU's Annual NYC Boat Trip.
This years Orientation is all about Nostalgia. Your Orientation Leaders are hard at work making sure that you entrance into school brings back childhood memories while getting you set for success in your future. While more information will be available later in the summer, we wanted to make sure you were aware of some important information:
August 19th (DAY 1)
Welcome to your 1st Official Day as an Eagle!
Resident Check In:
9am-1pm (exact check in times will be determined by last name and will be sent out shortly)
Commuter Check In:
3:30pm-4:30pm | Mahoney Library
Note: There will be a Commuter Activity at 5:00pm
5:00pm - Parent Orientation | Dolan Performance Hall
5:45pm - Welcome and Blessing | Dolan Performance Hall
Immediately following the blessing, all are invited to join us for a themed dinner
and activity. This is a great opportunity for families and students to meet and mingle.
8:00pm - Families Depart
At this time, resident students will meet with their RAs to get to know each other
and to review the policies of the residence halls.
August 20th (DAY 2)
A full day of activities including; team building and a scavenger hunt!
August 21st (Day 3)
A day set aside for learning more about Academic Affairs, before cruising the Hudson
River with a trip around Manhattan.
