Success Stories

SEU alumna Jasmine Poole

"I didn't know how to read until I was 12 years old. I was born prematurely and had a few learning disabilities that made reading extremely difficult. When I came to SEU, my advisor suggested I major in English and I responded, ‘if you knew my background, you would not be asking me to do that.'

Two years later I earned my bachelor's in English and graduated with highest honors. Now, I've published several books and I wrote the first chapter of my first book as the final assignment for an English class at SEU."
