Email: apellizzon@steu.eduPhone: (973) 290-4065Dr. Buison earned a B.S. in Biological Sciences, a M.S. and Ph.D. in Nutrition and Food Science from Wayne State University. She completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the Dept. of Pediatrics/University of Pennsylvania and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in the Dept. of GI, Hepatology, and Nutrition. She completed coursework and supervised practice at Saint Elizabeth University to become a registered dietitian.
I use my research experience, ranging from bench science to clinical work, to inform and strengthen my teaching with consideration of the whole person. I teach both in-person and online courses in our undergraduate and graduate programs. I am also a Peer Review and Content Specialist for Quality Matters, a non-profit organization dedicated to quality assurance and continued improvement in online and blended education.
