Pursuing a future in nursing is a powerful choice. The Pre-Licensure Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program prepares students to become compassionate, skilled, and confident registered nurses who are ready to make an impact. Admission to the nursing major is competitive, and students are encouraged to demonstrate both academic readiness and a strong commitment to the nursing profession.
When to Apply
Students apply to enter the pre-licensure BSN program at the end of the spring semester of their freshman year or once having completed their necessary pre-requisite courses and testing. All required materials must be submitted by June 1 for priority review. Applications received after June 1 may be considered only on a space-available basis.

may be invited to retake the TEAS exam or repeat a prerequisite course prior to admission

Boost Your Admission Score

any of the following optional supplemental materials:

success as a nursing student?”

All supplemental materials must be submitted at the time of application submission. Any materials received after the application has been submitted will not be considered for admission review.
**Please Note:
- Application does not guarantee admission into the nursing program
- Applications to the nursing major are a competitive process and the meeting of minimal
admission criteria does not guarantee admission to the nursing program.
- Students who are not accepted into the nursing program should speak with their advisor regarding the feasibility of reapplication or choosing another related major. If the student chooses to reapply to the nursing program, the student must submit a new application the following spring semester and must compete with the new applicant group.
