Congratulations on Your Acceptance!

We're excited to have you join the Saint Elizabeth Family!

Follow the steps below to get started on your enrollment.

Steps to Enroll

1. Submit Your FAFSA!

To determine your eligibility for Federal, State or SEU need-based aid, you'll need to submit your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) as soon as possible at studentaid.gov.

  • SEU's school code: 002600
  • Add SEU if you've already submitted

Make sure Admissions has your Social Security Number.

  • Call us at (973) 290-4700 to confirm.

Opt in to electronic communications from Financial Aid!

  • Send an email to financialaid@steu.edu with the statement "I, (your name), give Saint Elizabeth University consent to send my financial information to me electronically, via email."

2. Secure Your Seat!

To officially become an SEU student, submit your enrollment deposit ($200) – steu.edu/deposit.

  • Due no later than May 1, 2022. This payment will be credited to your account.

    Note: After May 1, the deposit is due two weeks after acceptance.

3. Reserve Your Room!

Planning to live on campus? Submit your room deposit ($200) no later than June 1 at steu.edu/newhousing for priority placement. Room deposits may be submitted past this deadline; however, availability may be limited. This payment will be credited to your account.

Your Residence Life Survey will be included in your payment receipt email. Please complete this ASAP as it will assist us in selecting a room (and possible roommate) for you.

4. Start Working on Your Health Forms!

The COVID-19 vaccine is required for ALL students.

Find the appropriate forms at steu.edu/medreqs and get started as soon as possible.

Securely upload docs at steu.edu/meduploads.

You cannot attend class or move in until your health documents have been submitted and accepted!

Future SEU Student-Athletes

Anyone interested in trying out for a team must:

  • Contact the appropriate coach as soon as possible.
  • Complete the Athletic Pre-Participation Physical Exam form found at steu.edu/sportsphysical IN ADDITION TO the general physical exam required for all students (part of the health documents mentioned above).
  • Complete the Athletic History Form at steu.edu/studentathletebio

These forms must be submitted no later than July 1.

5. Set Up Your SEU Accounts!

Once you've made your enrollment deposit, and your registration period has opened up (April 4, 2022 for Fall 2022 students), you'll be able to set up your SEU email and Self-Service account: steu.edu/setupaccount.

These accounts MUST be set up before attending an Eagles Day.


  • Make your deposit at least 48 hours in advance.
  • Call your admissions counselor to ensure that the following info is correct: Legal Name, Social Security Number, and Date of Birth.
  • Locate your System ID
    This 9-digit number will be provided to you by your Admissions Counselor.

6. Register for Eagles Day!

First-time freshmen are required to attend an Eagles Day. Transfer students are highly encouraged. EOF, Global Scholars and Honors Program participants are not required to attend.

Eagles Day allows you to:

  • Get your Student ID card
  • Meet with your advisor to register for classes
  • Talk with a Financial Aid Counselor to have your questions answered, discuss your financing plan and ensure that all required documents are submitted
  • Set up a tuition payment plan
  • Opt-in to the loaner laptop program
  • Register for your parking decal
  • Tour campus and residence halls

7. Request and Submit Your Final Transcript!

All first-time freshmen must submit their final, official transcripts showing all grades and their graduation date as soon as they become available.

Transfer students and all others with previous college credits must submit official college transcripts.

8. Sign Up for New Student Orientation!

All first-year students are REQUIRED to attend Orientation, where you’ll explore campus, get to know your classmates, and participate in fun activities. Register for Orientation at steu.edu/orientation/registration.

9. Waive SEU Health Insurance

All students are required to have health insurance and are auto-enrolled in SEU's insurance plan.

Those covered by their parent/legal guardian's insurance may waive SEU's coverage. The waiver becomes available on firststudent.com after receiving a tuition bill.
