All commuter vehicles must be registered and must display a valid commuter decal at
all times. Parking decals are valid for one academic school year (August to August).
Register your vehicle online to get a new parking decal. Follow the online instructions which also give you the choice to pick the decal
up at the Security Office or have it mailed to your home. Give us a few days to process
your request before picking it up. The new process allows you to manage your own vehicles
for parking on campus.
Commuting students should park either in the large Annunciation Center lot or the
large lot behind Saint Joseph Hall. All other areas on campus have restricted parking.
Information about parking and traffic regulations can be found within Campus Security.

Information about school closings, delayed openings, early closings, and/or other
emergencies may be obtained by calling the INFO line at 973-290-4636 (INFO) or checking
the SEU website. In case of inclement weather, students should always check the INFO
line before departing from home, and always use sound judgment in making travel arrangements.
SEU has partnered with Send Word Now to provide a notification service to enhance emergency preparedness. The Send Word
Now service is an automated phone and text messaging system that allows SEU officials
the ability to reach you at a moment's notice. We will use this system to inform you
of safety related issues and other emergencies on campus.
Please take a moment to update your emergency contact information online by logging in with your STEU Account. If you have questions, please feel free
to contact our Department of Administrative Computing at (973) 290-4401 for assistance.
Please note: The emergency notification service relies on national and local communications
networks outside of the control of Saint Elizabeth University. As a result, message
delivery cannot be guaranteed. High call volume on cellular networks and other factors
may interfere with the delivery of some messages. To mitigate this risk, SEU does
not rely on the emergency notification service as a sole method for communication
in the event of an emergency. It is but one component in a larger communications plan
for the University.

One of the best way for Commuter Students to get involved is through the Commuter
Council. The Commuter Council is a student run organization which provides services
and programs that directly address the needs of commuter students. The Council informs
students of campus events, policies and procedures and encourages involvement in campus
life beyond the classroom. The Council also serves as an advocate for the needs and
wants of the commuter student.
