24/7 Online Access
Library databases, e-journal subscriptions and our online catalog are accessible 24/7 from any computer or device with an Internet connection and web browser. Just use your SEU email and password when prompted to log in to Microsoft, follow the instructions for two-step verification, and you're good to go!
Library Accounts
New Account
All students, faculty, and staff that want to check out books or technology must register for a library account in person at the library circulation desk. All you need to bring is your SEU ID. Once library staff create your account, you will get an email with a link to set your password (this can be the same password you use to get into your email).
Managing your Account
Once your account is set up and you've set your password, you can log into your library account in our catalog by clicking "Log In" in the top right corner. Here, you can see which books you have checked out, renew books, and view your saved searches.
Troubleshooting
If you are having problems connecting to one database, test your access to another
databases. If you can get into the other database, then the problem is most likely
with the database site itself. Don't hesitate to contact us at mahoneylibrary@steu.edu so we can troubleshoot and fix it!
If you have successfully connected to a database, but experience difficulties while
using that database, here are a few tips:
- Try a different browser
- If you are unable to access the full text to an article within a particular database,
check a different database platform (ProQuest, Elsevier, Ebsco, PubMed, etc)
- If Mahoney Library does not have access to the article you would like, please fill out an Interlibrary Loan request and we will do our best to get it for you
