Morristown, N.J., February 6, 2024 – Nicholas (Nick) Capodice has served as the director of Financial Aid at Saint Elizabeth University since April 24, 2023. With a wide background spanning almost 15 years in different financial aid capacities, Capodice carries a wealth of experience and knowledge that he provides to students daily.

Beyond his institutional roles, which include stints at Kean University and Drew University, Capodice impressively serves as the two-term President of the New Jersey Association of Financial Aid Administrators (NJASFAA), supporting financial aid policy at state, regional, & federal levels. Under Capodice’s leadership, NJASFA provides training and regulatory updates for NJ higher ed professionals (across all sectors and divisions) and encourages best practices to help assist our students.

He has recently represented Saint Elizabeth University at the National Association of Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA) Leadership Conference in Washington DC, which was highlighted by an address given by the United States Secretary of Education, Dr. Miguel Cardona.

“It’s an honor to serve our students, who all have their own unique goals and challenges in their quest for a degree. My ‘possible’ is driven by the opportunity to fuel student potential by fostering greater accessibility and attainability of a SEU education and the benefits it provides,” Nick says.

Capodice has positively contributed to SEU’s continued mission and provides support for all students seeking financial assistance, including the new FAFSA Form.

Capodice resides in Denville, New Jersey, with his wife Justene and their two daughters, Carmen and Lucille. Along with his dedication to his professional pursuits, Capodice also has a few hobbies that he enjoys. As a die-hard Miami Dolphins fan, he finds enjoyment in outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, camping, and barbecuing.

In addition, Capodice is an avid reader of both fiction (horror, science fiction, and mystery genres) and non-fiction (history, politics, biographies). He also tries to attend as many live music and sporting events as possible, which these days includes his daughter's soccer games.

For inquiries or assistance regarding Financial Aid, students should contact their individual counselors.
