SEU's program is ranked 18th nationwide out of 93 schools, marking the 11th consecutive year that the university has been recognized for excellence in online criminal justice education and jumping four spots from last year’s rankings.

In addition to its national standing, SEU's online criminal justice program maintains its position as the number one program in New Jersey, as well the top spot among universities in the Mid-Atlantic region. Through collaboration with faculty, students engage in real-life scenarios, covering diverse areas such as restorative justice, community policing, and cyber-security.

“The collaborative efforts of faculty and students in addressing real-world challenges related to restorative justice, community policing, and cyber-security is the key to the SEU program’s success,” said Kathleen Marino, Ph.D., director of the graduate program in Justice Administration and Public Service. “Emphasizing alignment with the SEU mission, the M.A. in Justice Administration and Public Service is designed to impart ethical, moral, and social responsibilities to students, reflecting their role in society.

U.S. News & World Report considers strong academic foundations, faculty credentials and training, support services and technology, expert opinions, and student excellence in its evaluation of institutions. SEU's consistent inclusion in the prestigious rankings reflects its commitment to providing a comprehensive and exceptional online education in the field of criminal justice.
