SOAR Tutor Application

Tutors provide mathematics and literacy tutoring for 5th grade children one or two days per week at the Spring Street Community Development Corporation (SSCDC) in Morristown, NJ through their SOAR Program.

Transportation to and from the site is provided by SSCDC. Tutors attend mandatory training at the beginning of each semester, and a mandatory evaluation session at the end of each semester. Tutors are required to utilize transportation time to the site by focusing on the plans for the day, and transportation time on the return trip to fill out reflection/tutoring logs.

In order to be paid, students must be Federal Work Study eligible.
