Kim Sabourin, MA, CCC-SLP, BCS-F

SEU Faculty Kim Sabourin. Kim Sabourin is an Assistant Professor and Program Director of the Saint Elizabeth University’s MS in Speech-Language Pathology Program. She is a Board-Certified Specialist in Fluency Disorders and her teaching and research interests are in stuttering and cluttering. She teaches the Stuttering and Other Fluency Disorders course, and she has mentored graduate student clinicians for many years at the Temple University Speech-Language-Hearing Center, where she was the Director of the Speak Now Camp for adolescents who stutter since its inception in 2014. She will continue to supervise graduate students in the Saint Elizabeth summer camp program for children who stutter, which is expected to launch in the summer of 2026. Ms. Sabourin received her MA from the University of Maryland and her BA at Pennsylvania State University.


Rebecca Azevedo, MA, CCC-SLP

Director of Clinical Education

SEU Faculty Kim Sabourin.Rebecca Azevedo is a bilingual Russian-English speaking speech-language pathologist who has experience supervising and mentoring graduate students in their first year of clinical practicum as well as in the field.   She has worked in medical, educational, and out-patient settings with a variety of communication disorders across the lifespan. Her areas of interest and specialized training include pediatric feeding/oral motor disorders, autism, stuttering, language-based communication disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, and articulation/phonological disorders. She has experience integrating clinical knowledge and evidence-based practice for pre-school and school aged children. Rebecca has received specialized training in SOS ®, CAN- EAT ©, Language Acquisition through Motor Planning (LAMP), Augmentative Alternative Communication devices (AAC), and sensory-based approaches to behavior. 


Siena Sun, Ph.D., CCC-SLP

Adjunct Faculty

SEU Faculty Siena Sun, Ph.D., CCC-SLPMeet Dr. Siena Sun, a bilingual clinician and researcher in the field of speech-language pathology. As an adjunct faculty member at Saint Elizabeth University's Speech-Language-Pathology Program, she brings a wealth of expertise and knowledge to her teaching. Currently, Dr. Sun provides speech, language, and feeding services to pediatric patients at the Ivy Rehab for Kids outpatient clinic in Pennsylvania. Her areas of specialization include early childhood development, autism, feeding, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) therapy. With her fluency in both Mandarin Chinese and English, she provides bilingual services that help children from diverse backgrounds achieve their full potential. Dr. Sun received her MA degree in speech-language pathology from Temple University and her PhD in linguistics from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Before joining Saint Elizabeth University, she served as an adjunct faculty member and research assistant at Wayne State University from 2016 to 2018. She also served as a board member of the Asian Pacific Islander Speech-Language-Hearing Caucus from 2019 to 2021.
